LOOKING AHEAD

Even though it’s February, it’s not too soon to look ahead to the upcoming events in Children’s Ministry. Put these dates on your spring and summer calendar now!

MISSION IGNITION – SATURDAY, MARCH 5, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

This field day for our 1st-6th grade children. The cost is $6. We’ll leave EBC at 8:30 a.m. and return @ 4:30 p.m. We’ll spend the day in mission and Bible activities. It will also include lunch and a BUNCH of inflatables! Please register my March 2 before the price goes up.

JOURNEY TO EASTER – MARCH 20-27

This is a study guide for families. It is to help children understand what Easter is about. It focuses on the events in Jesus’ life that led to His death and resurrection. Why did he die and what does that mean to us? What makes His resurrection the best part? This is a message for “children” of all ages. The Journey begins on March 20, Palm Sunday, and continues through Easter, March 27. The Journey guides will be available in March.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL – JUNE 27 – 30

This year we’ll be “SUBMERGED” as we dive into Bible lessons, crafts, snacks, and recreation with some surprises along the way. We’re going to need teachers and workers for bible stories, snacks, crafts, and recreation. Watch for a special “leadership meeting” coming in March.

CROSSTIMBERS KIDS’ CAMP – JULY 5-8

Camp is available for children who have completed the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grades. Located close to Falls Creek in the Arbuckle Mountains, this camp is packed full of sports, Bible teaching and mission games. The cost is $180. HOWEVER, later in the spring we will have a fund raising event to help defray the cost for the campers.
