February Share the Love Campaign

#SharetheLove

Ahh February! The month that celebrates love.

Introducing the February Share the Love Campaign. The Bible has a lot to say about love including the famous love chapter in I Corinthians 13.

“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.

If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.  If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.  For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. For now, we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face.

Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.  And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”

Share the Love

The continuing mission of Eastwood Tulsa is to share the love of Jesus with those who do not know Him, bring believers to spiritual maturity, and care for others.

As a church body, we challenge you to continue to pray for the lost, share your faith in Christ, and invite others to Eastwood Tulsa as you have done so faithfully for many years.

You are also challenged to join us in other areas of ministry that will reach beyond people you connect with in real life to people in your circle of influence that desperately need words of love and encouragement and the truth of the Gospel.

  • GIVE

Giving made safe, quick and convenient! Tithing is our foundation of giving. The Bible teaches us a baseline standard for giving: the tithe. When we give the first 10% of our income to the church, we put God first in our lives. Tithing is an act of worship that expresses our gratitude, faith, and love for others.

Weekly Blog Articles

Each week we seek to encourage, inform, and inspire with a short article posted to our website blog. Be sure to read and share them with your loved ones and friends.

Pass It On

In the coming weeks, we will post tutorials to help you #SharetheLove in each of the above-mentioned methods. As they say, “Pass it on” and “Pay it Forward”.  You never know whose life is changed because you cared.
