I Thessalonians 2:1-11

Being in community with other Christians is Biblical and essential to our growth as Christians. The early church in the Book of Acts meet in homes for worship, prayer, teaching, fellowship and the Lord’s supper. There were no church buildings small or large. There were no churches to ‘join.’ The new believers didn’t have Bibles, commentaries, Christian books, internet, apps, or other things we take for granted. Their fellowship with other believers was crucial to their new faith in Christ.

Pastor Gordon Small came to know Jesus in 1979 and it was a dark to light conversion. Eastwood is the Church where he was baptized and called to the ministry. Since then God has given Pastor Gordon a passion to know Him and make Him know to others. Pastor Gordon is driven by the unity and teamwork at our church. He enjoys teaching God’s Word and seeing others excited about Jesus and His Word.
